As I stated in another thread earlier this week, I work in a warehouse of the publisher of the new FIM books.
Today I found two of the new books at work! I was able to read them both during my break! 
What's weird is that I work in the Returns Center. I deal with the books that the bookstores send back to the publisher because either they have too many or they are damaged. Normally, I don't see new releases until a couple weeks to a month after they come out. I never see books before they are released. Certainly, not a month and a half before! That's why I was so SHOCKED to find them! This morning I went to put a couple books away in a location. When I looked in the box I was surprised to see Twilight Sparkle staring back at me.

I loved the story in this one! After Princess Cadance and Shining Armor got married and moved to the Crystal Empire, they started getting invitations to visit places all over Equestria. With each city they visit, PC and SA send a post card to Twilight telling her about what they did there. Their last stop on their journey was Ponyville. My favorite part was when PC and SA were in Manehattan. Shining Armor liked riding on the Underground Pony Express Train - The Maneway.
I guess that's the FIM version of the subway.

I was hoping that this book would include some of the background ponies. Maybe reveal the name Hasbro chose for
Pony.
No such luck. It just covers the main 6 and Spike. It covers just basic things about each character. Where they live, what they do, what they like, etc. It does use the word "everypony" in the story, which I thought was cool. With Spike it even mentions his crush on Rarity. The story segways nicely between characters. For example, "Fluttershy is very quite when she talks. Not like Pinkie Pie."
One thing that really caught my attention was something they said about Rainbow Dash. "Rainbow Dash can fly so fast that she changes the weather."
Uh... that's not quite right..... Doing a Sonic Rainboom isn't changing the weather. But that's the only flaw I found.
Tomorrow if I get the chance I'm going to see if I can find Twilight Sparkle and the Crystal Heart Spell. I really want to read this one!
