I had mostly ponys as a child...but I did also have few dollies...most of the dolls I can remember that I had was Petra dolls...probably because they were cheaper....but I did have two big barbie playsets/houses ( Fun and Fold Houes and some kind of Fantasy masquerade ballroom thingy) so I guess I had some barbies too...now I know I had at least two, one of which I have still today, think she was called My first Ballerina, very plain and nothing special.

But my abslute favourite doll was a doll that was small, she had lavender panthoes and shoes molded/painted to her body, she came with a purple horse. For years I actually thought it was a Lady Lovely Locks doll, I don't know why since she didn't have any colors in her hair. Later started thinking that she must've been a Megan doll ( I had at least played with her as Megan with my ponies)

Sometime after we got a computer in the house I did a research...a long one, it turned out her name was (if I remember correctly)  Applebloom and the horse Appleblossom (or the other way around) there was also a picture of them, the horse originally had a long long pointy hat XD I know I have saved the picture but I think it's somewhere on my other computer...or my harddrive....

Anyhow...if anyone know which these are, or even has them, I'd like to see pictures ;)

EDIT; Their names was Abigail and Appleblossom

I didn't really play with dolls as a young child, but one that I did have (and love) was a Sasha doll - one of the boys... I think he was called Gregor?

I do remember she had light eyes. Not sure if they were blue or green. Her face was really simple.

I had MANY favorites. I had "baby" dolls like cabbage patch and the like, but I didn't really play with them. I was more of a Barbie doll type girl. My favorites were: Jewel Secret Whitney, Peaches and Cream Barbie 1980s, Dream Glow Barbie 1980s, Loving you Barbie 1980s, a Raven Lady LovelyLocks doll (but I think I really liked the pixie tails and comb gnomes not the doll itself), A Megan doll that came with My Little Pony, Heart Family dolls with Grandma and Grandpa, Hula Hoop Maxie , Slumber Party Maxie, Dance and Romance Maxie, Tropical Miko

I didn't really like dolls as a child, now I love them haha! I did enjoy cabbage patch kids and especially the animal versions of them, don't remember what they were called.

Tiella, the Cabbage patch kids animal versions are called Koosa's.

I loved my Disney dolls :hearts: I grew up during the late 80s/early 90s golden years of Disney animation, and was obsessed with all the movies, so every birthday or Christmas my parents would give me the new dolls  ^.^ I played with them a ton, but I loved them so much I took really good care of them too, so they all survived with just a few messy hairstyles and stray marks. Pocahontas and Nakoma were the two I loved and played with most :D

I still have them all and all their accessories too! Just recently I tidied them all up and put them out on display. And I still collect them--most recent addition was last month, Flynn from Tangled. Someday maybe I'll have one of each character :)

Love reading everyone's dolly stories :lovey:

I was super into American Girl dolls. Between me and my two sisters, we have all of them! My youngest sister still collects them, and with the two recent historical releases (turn of the century girls from New Orleans, be still my beating heart!), I almost want to get back into it. My favorite was always Molly, the girl from WWII- I saved my money for a year to buy her, and then when my parents realized I only had, like, half of what I needed, "Santa" brought her. Felicity, the girl from the American Revolutionary period, was my second favorite. I had her and her horse, the Native American girl Kaya and her horse and her wolfdog, Josefina (New Mexico, Hispanic), and Samantha (Edwardian New York).

I loved Barbie and Sindy as a child (and I still do!), My favorite was Loving You Barbie and her horses, Prancer and Dixie. I had more Barbie- and Sindy horses than actual dolls , I love the horses and still have my original ones though the dolls themselves are long gone. My own Prancer has been played with quite a lot, but he is my favorite doll item and I found a perfect one at a charity shop a couple of weeks ago.  :)

Not really sure... I did adore my Totally Hair Whitney Barbie tho. She reminded me of my favourite aunt.

My favorite was probably a rag doll that was given to me by my Aunt Frances and Uncle Jack, who have always been very special to me. I found a website that lists some info on the doll as well as some others by the same parent company. She was just like the two at the top of the page, but her dress was sort of a mint color and she had pink hair! Her name was always Tuna growing up (I have no idea why) but when I was 13 I got into anime and Japan so I ended up changing it to Tsuna. I like that better, actually. It's more fitting.

If I go way back, it was my Strawberry Shortcake Kissy Face Doll.  Loved her to bits.  After that though, it was my barbies.  I was completely into them.

My favorites were Dream Glow Barbie and Jewel Secrets Barbie. I sold them years ago, but found Jewel Secrets MIB and got a Dream Glow dress from a member here. Still looking for the rest of Dream Glow's parts- and I had the glow bed too, which I don't ever see!

I loved dolls as a kid so I have many favorites.

The ones that I probably loved the most are Hollywood Hair Teresa, Best Man Ken (from Midge and Alan's wedding), my two Princess Magic Touch dolls, Hawaiian Fun Barbie, Happy Holidays Barbie 1991 (green velvet dress), my few Jem dolls (especially Video and Glitter and Gold Jem), Princess Jasmine (the first one that came out), Tyco Wedding Ariel (no longer have her, my mom had to drill and put screws into all my little mermaid dolls legs to keep them on), Tyco Spring Time Ariel (also gone now lol), Crystal Ken (didn't have him for very long though).

Crystal Ken was one of my first dolls, along with Tracy Bride, Tropical Barbie, Tropical Miko (both Tropicals went bald), and my two Barbie and the Rockers- Barbie & Diva (both had their heads ball off)).  Poor Crystal Ken.  His head broke when I was little (probably my brother when he was a baby), 1991 Kenner Miss America dolls (ok, I didn't have these but I bought them for my best friend and her sister so I got to play with them too lol).

My favorite fashions were Peaches n Cream, Loving You Barbie, some homemade outfits, Dream Glow Barbie, Day to Night Barbie.  I never had those actual fashions until later in my childhood, got them secondhand but I loved them!  I always loved handmade outfits.  They were pretty and I loved knowing they might be the only one ever made!

I also loved my two Maxie dolls (and her amazing car and daybed!) and also my two Cabbage Patches (one had small loops of yarn for hair and the other was an AA Sip N Burp baby).

Ah, memories.  I love those dolls.  I've even bought a lot of again NRFB.  I have a lot of the more important dolls from my childhood still, the others have moved on... (looking back I had a pretty big collection!)
