Until now, this is the only picture I'd ever seen of Brass Key Crystal Dream Aurora (well that and the wrongly named ebay listing for mine bwAHAHAHA)

I am going to resew some of the top section of Aurora dress, because it's horrible. Also the front of Ariels. They are fastened at the FRONT  with velcro - bizarre! Aurora has extra beaded detail on the back of her dress which you can't even see because her hair is there, so pointless. The seams should have been on the back
The seams down the front of their dresses and hideous 'clunky' non display-side hands are a result of Brass Key assuming that they wiould never be removed from their boxes. A shame

Heres another one of Ariel, just 'cause!
I now realise they look much better with light reflecting off their eyes. Without painted highlights, the glass eyes can look really dark and dead sometimes, but with the right lighting, a change to the eyes completely changes how they look

I was thinking about this thread earlier, and I actually found a Brass Key doll! She's the Winter Skater Belle, and I never would've grabbed her if you hadn't posted about Ariel, so thank you Now to decide whether to take her off her cardboard insert or not...

Wow, Aurora's hair looks fantastic--especially considering she had already been deboxed!

I think it's a shame that the dolls' other hands weren't given as much attention since "no one" would ever debox the dolls. Considering that kind of attitude is coming from the producers, I guess it's lucky they have left hands at all.
