Do your ponies have personalities?

hehe.. i guess mine was kinda like that too... she was always trying to keep every one else out of trouble.
she was my best friend.. my grams gave her to me out of the collection when i was sick when i was little.. the rest most of the time stayed at grandmas..
id love to move them up and down the steps .. or sit on the landing.. it had really crummy lighting.. so it made for all kinds of great adventures and explorations and things..
hehe.
they were quite the indiana jones' .. going looking for stuff... lost treasure.. or lost  princesses.. I had some of my barbies and other small dolls with me too.. i have a GIGANTIC doll collection as well..
They were always fairies and princesses and things and the ponies would go to find or/and help them..
my gram's house was old and huge and a great place for a kid with an over active imagination to play all kinds of games..
I miss that.. i havent been back there in years.. i dont get on with my grandfather.. now that my mom's passed I will probably never go back..
but i can stillremember it..
i thats why i really dont mind if i get a pony with a few stray marks.. or something like that.. as long as they are in good condition.. i think of all of the adventures they must have had..
like when I got my three so softs.. buttons  lofty and north star.. they are sisters and were always with each other so they stay that way now on display.. same with my tafs..
hehe.. its silly but its so much fun!

Aww, you guys have such lovely stories! I'm glad to know more people do it (though even if it was an oddity it wouldn't stop me )
I never had ponies as a kid, so all of my plotlines and such are recent. I'll have to edit this post eventually and add in one of my stories.

I have an entire world developed around my ponies. Each and every one of them is their own character with their own personality, relations and life story. Some don't have much of a story yet though but it will come. Sometimes when I get a pony I already have a story/personality for it, other times it takes time to develop.

I wonder, do you guys ever take your ponies down occasionally and actually play with them? I don't really anymore since I'm 15, but I have two or three times just because of all the new ponies I have. xD

I sure do! They are toys and are ment to be played with For me playing with them is how their life stories evolve

I have no imagination. They don't have personalities. Most of the time they just look pitifully at me from the shelf... Don't remember if they had personalities when I played with them as a child....
