Do you care if they are White?

I'm no longer bothered, and I do kind of enjoy having my white ponies looking a bit more like an egg shell white. In fact, I'm so used to the G1s that the white G4s look a bit weird to me. The G4s have a bit of gray in them, whereas the G1s have a warmer white that is softer and more comforting to look at. I guess I'm someone who doesn't like perfection because when a toy tries to be too perfect, I'll try to squint even more flaws out of it. Whereas if the toy is already flawed, then I tend to be more forgiving because it already has so many flaws, I mean what difference does it make having yet another one.

I like them to be bright white, but off white is ok too I'm looking for an upgrade for my poor Gingerbread (which I doubt I'll ever find ) She is so brown

I went off my non white ponies when I decided to downsize my collection.

White as possible is certainly nice, but generally creamy ponies are ok by me. When it's a pony that can handle it, the sun is always a good friend 

I typically steer clear of really off white or browning ponies though if they are for my personal collection.

If she's a bit off white I can deal with that because it seems to just happen over time. Of course I would much rather a bright white pony but it's not crucial. I don't think I would be able to add a pony that was so off white it was pretty much brown to my collection though If I did I would probably try to sunfade it first

It doesn't really bother me too much if my ponies are going off white, they still tend to look good to me. I do like how the newer generations look while white, but realise that with time they'll fade just as much as my older ponies.

I know they get a little dingy over time but I don't want them to brown so much it's like they've been used to wipe someone's butt. That's nasty. Now browned ponies for me. Yuck.

I love a bright white pony but I don't mind if she's off-white or a little creamy - if she's truly brown or yellow, though, it will bug me.

I care wether my white t-shirt is pure white, I don't care whether a pony is! I mean look at the paint in your house, it goes yellow with age, books yellow with age, guitars yellow with age. It's just age that's all. It's just science and life I guess

Personally I dont think a lot of the ponies we consider white were a stark and brilliant white to begin with. I have no doubt there were some that were very white - Starshine and Sweetheart and Nurse Sweetheart being good examples - but I think a lot of them were more an off white to begin with [and not as pure and solid a white as the plastic for some G3 ponies like Sunnydaze].

I am not saying they are supposed to be creamy...just that the are not 255 red/green/blue on the colour spectrum originally

That being said I do prefer my ponies as white as possible but I can live with them becoming a touch creamy if required.

For the record though, I've soaked a Starshine in peroxide for several weeks before and got her nice and white again with no ill effects.

I too like white ponies to be white.
If they go creamy once they are in my "herd" I certainly don't mind - we all get old!!!   
I don't think I would buy a really "dirty" white pony unless it was REALLY something special.!!
I think it is true that many of the so-called white ponies are never BRIGHT white......I wouldn't get rid of a pony just because she has changed a little with age!!

Doesn't really matter too much to me. I mean I LIKE ponies when they are white still best but I'm not about to turn down a not so white pony either.
