Least favourite/Most disappointing G4 merch?

Agreed.  It was cool at first because being a brony was something new for everyone and the brony merch was minimal, but now it's everywhere and a lot of the new clothes and stuff still have "Brony" written on them.  And it's almost always with just Rainbow Dash.  Not interested, thanks.

That's how I was. I thought it was cute/cool when it first came out, but now it's getting to be a bit much. I know it sells, but I feel they should "tone it down". There are shirts, wallets, hats, backpacks/bags, ect., with "brony" on it now, and I await the day that they'll actually be a MLP:FiM pony toy with the word "brony" on it, or as a cutie mark. xD
Considering how RD is basically the "brony pony" for FiM (that doesn't have bubbles [or balloons, on occasion] as her cutie mark), I'm not surprised she's on 80%+ of the merchandise. But yes, I do feel that other ponies should at least get some brony merch attention.

I think the "jumping the shark moment" for me with the brony merch is when I saw the Pinkie Pie "Come At Me, Brony" shirt at Hot Topic a few days ago.

The thing that bugs me the most is that hardly any of the merch makes it to the UK! Besides the playful ponies and wingers line, (and fashion styles, but only before Xmas) we've got next to nothing.

Along with what a lot of people have said, I'd have to add Fashion Style Celestia to that list. I refuse to buy her because she's so incorrect, and I adore Fashion Styles! 

They had a white prototype of her, and now they have their pretty pink princess, why can't they make her a white Fashion Style version?

my main gripe is just lack of variety...it seems as of late they come out with a new pony (a different pony) and its only in this country or that store.... we want more variety that isnt going to cost us 20+ to get!

I think all the large ponies are disappointing personally... talking Celestia/Cadence, the So Soft babies, Walkin Pinkie Pie - etc... take up so much real-estate, and not even Celestia and Cadence look different, just different colors... meh. Why would I buy three large ponies just to have pink and white Celestia and Cadence?

I do have to agree that Chrysalis is really awful looking though. So sad. She is a very cool character and they really just phoned it in on her...

I like the toys for what they are, however I wish they'd drop blind bags for brushables again for a little bit. Honestly with the blind bags being $2.50 (walmart here raised prices) to $5 at hot topic (bah too much $!!) I would much rather have a playful pony with a head that turns and hair for a similar $5 price point. blind bags are just too pricey anymore when they use the same shape over and over.  I will maybe get a few of the unique blind bags but am definitely done with the rest. 

Done with mane 6 being replaced constantly too with a lack of new characters being made alongside them.

For me it's a tie between DJ-Pon-3 (her eye shape...they couldn't have just make the shades match the unicorn eyes mold?) and the Shadowbolt Raindow Dash. Really. Hasbro - did you just ahve to make yet another RD figure, even if she's in a costume. They should have just made it a normal Shadowbolt. ;_;

I don't think any of the ponies really disappoint me even though I'm upset about a few things like Vinyl's glasses, the shoes on Chrysalis, not all the celestias shoes are painted and most of all the sloppiness of the blind bag paint jobs and the lack of brushable characters.
