I am not a doll collector. I thought Monster High was really neat and creative but I'm not into dolls. Until the CAMs, the idea of making your own doll intrigued me and I generally love crafty things. In the process of looking for the Blob/Ice CAM I picked up a Skellita and got attached while crocheting an awesome flaminco dancer outfit. I've also picked up the Gorgan and have made her a yarn wig and some sexy crocheted swimwear.
Anyways back on the subject! I've watched all the little webisodes and I love them and Ghoulia has become my favorite. Well now despite me previously not caring to collect the "character" dolls I very badly want a Ghoulia. I most want her signature doll as I love that outfit. However i don't particularly want to spend big bucks so I'm out of luck there
My next favorite incarnation of her is the Gloom Beach 5-pack exclusive. I've seen gobs of those 5-packs along with the Skull Shores at my Target for MONTHS. I don't understand why they don't mark the price down. I am not comfortable paying $54 for one doll and the possibility of not being able to sell off the other dolls.
At this point I'm about ready to just settle for a Scaris Ghoulia even though it's not my favorite outfit.
More than likely I'll probably just make her an outfit to wear anyway. But still I want my favorite doll in my favorite outfit!
I also wonder if I could get people interested in my crochet wear and earn my doll that way..
