[Lickety Split]

Im very new to pony collecting(and this forum) so have some questions.....I was wondering if there is a list of terminology? Pony Corral? Adoptables? Bronies? etc?

Lickety Split is my fav pony so wondered if people could tell me how many versions of her there are? I know there is a plush, the flocked one and a baby pony....I came across one called Lickety split but a different symbol? Also I've seen a few color varatations....where would I get different colors? Anything else I need to know?

For the different color variations, see the MLP Nirvana forum. "Nirvana" usually refers to a pony that was produced outside of China or Hong Kong, and had limited releases in Europe or South America or somewhere else outside of the US/UK. There were several Lickety Splits out of Argentina known as "Helados," at least one Venezuelan version, and I believe the lovely blue version in the Arena logo is an Italian, though I may be wrong. The MLP Nirvana forum has a picture gallery that shows almost all the known variations by country, it's breathtaking to look through!

As for various Lickety splits, maybe you are talking about another generation pony. If I remember correctly, while the one you like belongs to first generation (G1), there is a Lickety Split in G3.

I'll just fill in those that are missing. Adoptables are little custom images that members make for each other. for example, my avatar is an adoptable, which means that some nice member made a mould and gave us a chance to commission them to make it with whatever design we want. When they make it we can use it in our signatures, avatars etc.
Persona is a pony character many of us make to represent us. We design them, name them and usually use them to commission for adoptables

Pony Corral is just the name of this part of the forum that is mostly related to general pony talk. Here you can make remarks about ponies, ask questions, ask for information on ponies, their prices (PC - price check) etc.

That wiki link has some really good info on the different variants that are out there We also have a gallery in the Nirvana forum dedicated to pictures of variants. Beware though, it's a wallet-killer

The blue Lickety-Split is pretty rare, and only a handful of them are out there. If you're on a tight pony budget, I would recommend getting a custom.

The Peruvian one with green hair is also a bit hard to find, but shows up significantly more often than the blue Italian. Green Peruvian hair is highly, HIGHLY prone to frizzing though, so finding her in nice shape could be tough.

As for the Venezuelan ones, all of them are (so far) one of a kinds. 2 have never been put to auction, and one is a 'squeaker' (no hair or tail, meant to squeak like a dog's toy for example, and were rumored to be party favors of sorts) which don't usually fetch as high of a price as one with hair would. The 4th one initially sold at auction for close to $1000, and then was later resold for (I think) about $800 or so.

As for Lickety Split she has so many regular options - adult, so soft, baby first tooth, baby beddy bye eye, baby regular and even more when you start considering the nirvana options.
