Here in Brisbane, Wynnum Plaza where I normally go they are definitely getting less and less MLP stock..

The only ones I see now are Skywishes and Rainbow Dash, set of 6 blind bag ponies or something, RD and PP FS ponies, a few brushables etc but I have literally ALL of them :/

Target, TRU and Big W seem to be the ONLY ones that do something

Big W restocked MLP but all their sections for individual toy lines are getting smaller and smaller...  they had singles in, though only the luggage ponies and Mane 6 Wedding ones.

My waste of space kmart is the same too. Big w does seem to be getting smaller, target is still ok, but last I looked they still hadn't restocked from Xmas. My toyworld prolly has the biggest pony section, but it's all old stock. Like applejack's barn house. And they're the most expensive.

Toy World aren't as big as the chain stores that can order a lot of stock in and competitively price, I understand why they have a mark-up. Sometimes it can be a bit much though... they wanted $40 for a Bratzillaz Jade the other day. Nope!

At least it's not a case of TRU...

I went to one the other day, they wanted $20 for applejack barn and for cheerilee's school. Reduced from $30!! AND were still selling g3 sweetie belle! But they did have the tinsel hair ponies on the cards

I've actually seen a few G3.5 (I think) Sweetie Belle's around. One at TRU and 3 at David Jones plus a few other G3.5 or Ponyville sets!!

Here its actually our Big W thats lacking in ponies, it has the newest stock in town, but not much. Kmart is the shop that has the most actually. Target (country) is hopeless.
