Pony *face palm* moment.................

So a few weeks ago I was trawling through my box of MLP/random accessories and I sorted them into G1, G2, G3 and misc piles

After double checking the misc pile to make sure no other MLP bits were in there I threw them away and thought nothing else of it

Until tonight............................................................I have a couple of fashion star fillies and was using an ID site to see what they were called......................................and ALOT of that misc pile was FSF accessories  even more annoyingly I have the FSF the accessories belonged to! I have no idea how all the accessories got mixed up or why I threw them out............*kicking herself*

Moral of the story, always ask for an ID on the Pony Corral!!! Anybody else had this experience? Maybe accidently throwing out MLP stuff?

Oh no! What a nightmare thing to do. I am so sorry . I think its so hard to remember everything - I remember years ago I didnt want the silly barrettes that the Sweetie Babies came with so I sold them to some one for their price offer which was about $20 for Licorice and for Lollipops barrettes! Times that number by 10 and thats what I had to pay to get them back again...you can bet I still kick myself now over this!

I had a box of pony accessories that I bought from a flea market. I was cleaning out and picked out all the pony stuff and was throwing out the rest (there were pincones and like those plastic things from pizzas). Well there was this metal button with a blue ribbon....I rememberd looking at and and going, this isn't mlp or important....so I threw it out (or so I thought). A month or so I saw it in summer's book....it was baby blue ribbons ribbon!!!! I was devistated, afraid to throw stuff out for a long time. Years later, I found a bag of ponies from a tag sale that needed cleaning and out of the bag fell the ribbon! I didn't throw it out  after all. Now I'm like super duper careful, but you can't help it. Mistakes happen sometimes. I know I've probably got rid of more accessories and pieces I regret.

Oh no Hathorcat!!  I had a similar experience which still makes me feel sick.................years ago (probably when you made the mistake) I was selling all my childhood ponies on ebay.com and this woman in the USA bought alot from me and she asked if she could talk to me via webcam to see what else I had

So out came childhood Splish with float and she said 'Oh I love her i'll give you $10 for her' , me being 15/16 at the time thought thats perfect! My sister Pangel had Splosh with float and also sold her for $10. Its something we have never got over tbh

  I think I threw out pony wear once. Was there ever a yellow polka-dot two-piece bathing suit? I kind of remember picking these filthy things with too many holes and being like, "What the heck are these?" *toss* But now that I figured out too late what they are, I completely regret that I cannot dress a pony in it, make it dance around, and sing "Itsy bitsy teeny-weeny yellow polka-dot bikini!"

Aw, so sorry that happened to you. 

I know a long time ago, when my older sister moved out, she offered me her childhood Glory - but I was eleven and not intoMLP at the time so I turned her down.  You can bet I wish I'd kept her (I even still have *that* Glory's sticker.). And my childhood Wind whistler is long gone - lost during my childhood - but her brush was kicking around for years and years.  Now, of course, I can no longer find it and have probably lost it.

^^^^^^^^^THIS^^^^^^ Did that with my childhood Surprise and Sunbeam - just 'cause they smelled moldy! They didn't even have mold inside them! I can't help imagining my poor babies sitting in a garbage dump somewhere under piles and piles of garbage. My poor little poopsies....

These stories... They make me so sad

I had a really disgusting Party Time... I can't remember where I got her, but it seems like from ebay in a lot. She smelled disgusting, she was slimy, she had writing all over her, her eyes were scratched up beyond repair and her symbol was almost gone. I will never quite forget the smell... So I threw her away... She wasn't worth much if anything at all, but it always makes me a bit sad that I threw a pony in the garbage... especially a G1 TE

I think that at some point in time I had Baby Princess Sparkle's barrette... no idea what happened to it though. Same with a baby pony sippy cup, spoon, bow, etc. Same with my childhood Cotton Candy and Player. It's like the universe swept them away. Or my mom gave them away, one of the two.
