Shipping options with USPS-Can you seriously not print lables anymore?

I am trying to look up postage options. Priority is still there of course, but is Parcel post gone? If it is, what is taking its place?

Please don't tell me that the only option for things over 13 ounces is Priority mail! I will never get rid of my stuff!

I was trying to get some packages ready to go out and cannot find a way to print a Standard Shippping lable thru Paypal. This is of course what most people want. Is the USPS seriously not letting people print their own postage anymore? Holy Smokes! I don't have time to go to the PO everyday!

I know I saw that list time I was going to ship something. I am not to happy there is no other options. I had to take it the postal office to get that shipping, They call it something else.  I told her that pay pal will not let me do that. She said that someone else told her that also. She is not sure why we cant select that option.

It was renamed, and it is now standard post. https://www.usps.com/ship/standard-post.htm

Bandit is correct.  It's the exact same service, just renamed is all.

It's not available on Paypal yet to print labels for Standard Shipping though - Anything over 13oz can't be First Class mail and there's no other options but Priority and more expensive routes. I hope this changes...

This is my problem too. I can't believe they took away any sort of 13oz+ (aka Parcel Post) shipping options... I can't print labels Media Mail because that's fraudulent if it's not a book and I'm not risking my buyers items being opened and ruined and not shipped because I printed the wrong label. I REALLY hope they fix this soon, this is very annoying!

Yea sadly I sold some stuff on ebay last week and because the packages were both more than 12 oz..they no longer qualify for anything but priority mail. So first class 12 oz or less...everything else is now priority.  Even at the po I got no other options for online labels.  They said they were eventually going to do this so, its not a surprise.  In the past i noticed with many of my shipments parcel post was actually more than priority.  In fact it happened often enough I quit using parcel post a while back.

We all need to put a reminder in our auctions about the increase in postal rates but I anticipate some star trouble on the horizon as people are not going to like the nearly 10.00 shipping for a two pound box if you insure it.

I spent a good deal of time yesterday putting it in various listings and other parts of my store. The reason is when I ran a report for this month, I saw I got slammed on Shipping and Handling charges from International Buyers this past week. I personally think ebay needs to do something with this. It is going to be a big problem.

As far as Standard Post if I am remebering correctly it should be available again sometime in March for online printing. Ok, just found this:

Know that the new Parcel Select service will not be available for purchase through eBay Labels until March. Sellers that wish to utilize this service before it is available via eBay Labels—and sellers who have sold items with the Parcel Select service—will need to go to the Post Office or an alternate online postage provider (i.e. Pitney Bowes, Endicia.com, Stamps.com, etc.) to purchase this class of service. Also, be sure to upload tracking information within your stated handling time. If you would like to continue to take advantage of the convenience of eBay Labels until Parcel Select is added to the eBay Labels system, consider temporarily offering a similar service.

I've always used priority for anything oner 13ozs. Parcel post wasn't that much cheaper.

I think parcel post is really only good for very heavy packages. In my experience, Priority is usually cheaper for light stuff.
