Hey guys, as some of you may know I took on the challenge of taking apart a DaP Fluttershy... it was mostly to prove that you can remove the hair but also to have another type of pony to custom. So each week I will try to do something to this girl.. either on my days off or in the evenings when I get home from work. Right now I'm just trying to decide what to turn her into... I -am- planning on using doll hair but I have to use it slightly different than normal... and you will see why in a bit
Day 1 (1/24/13) - Untouched and photos with her mane just removed plus what the hair left behind
Day 2 (somewhere between 1/24/13 and 1/28/13) - Ok this one is only one... all parts removed. What you can't see in the photo is how the tail was attached to the pony. Her tail, as you can see, has a kind of 'plug' shape... It was inserted into the body so there is a hole there were you can -retail- the pony... The space is bigger than a normal G4 FS pony's tail but smaller than what Darkhorse does
There is also a little raised area on her NDS leg where the tail was attached at the bottom
Now to figure out how to work with her and what design to go for
