Not sure where to put this, but it is not mlp related, so sorry mods in advance if I placed it wrong...

I have a 1st edition Labyrinth book that has never been opened and read. I am talking the David Bowie starring, Jim Henson movie based book written by ACH Smith. It is very hard to find and there was only one edition ever printed, one set in the US and one is the UK in 1986. It is a paper back book and does have a small amount of shelf wear.

Is there any interest in this kind of item?

This is definitely an item to take to eBay. I bought two copies in the last three months, one for myself and one for my best friend for Christmas. It is indeed popular and hard to find though there has been about ten copies on eBay during the last three months. I got my copy (good condition) for about $35 on auction and managed the fluke of a lifetime and got my friend's mint condition book for about $15 BIN. The average price seems to be around the $40 mark.

i  myself would love the book but have  some major purchaes come up. i loved the movie.  first edition first printings sometimes are  more expensive.

however with books first edition and first printing are not the same thing.  First editions are certainly worth more than later printings.  I would love this book though , I just need to know how much it is going for.

There will definitely be some folks out there interested in that.  eBay seems like a good suggestion.
