Everfree NW dealer table registration opens tonight!

I just saw on facebook that Everfree is opening up registration for their dealer tables tomorrow and a table only costs $80!  That is so fantastic... I don't even... ERMAHGERD!  Would anyone be interested in joining me at a table?  We both get to sell our customs and gain some business from the locals as well as possibly donating something to the charity raffle (those things raise some crazy money!)

The specifics:
The con is July 5th to 7th in Seattle, WA
The dealer table is $80 but the "helper" (secondary person with access to the dealer room in off hours) still has to purchase a ticket, so total cost for two people and the table would be $130.  That's $65 for each of us and covers the table and admission to the con.
Collecting taxes is mandatory at the con, so you'll need to collect and turn in sales tax at the end of the con and have either a permanent business license or temporary business certificate (temporary is free).

Eek, if you go, please be careful - I heard some awful stories about people getting harassed/assaulted at the last EFNW. :/ A girl got catcalled/verbally harassed repeatedly, a guy got choked, and security was all-around bumbling and not helpful. (And this was all first-hand accounts, heavens only know what others have heard on the grapevine...)

EFNW isn't super-far for me, but after hearing the con-chair call these people liars (without even pretending that he would try to make the next con more safe or addressing these peoples' concerns), I'm going to avoid it just for my own safety. So please be safe!! And have fun, of course!

I went to the last one and while it was really crazy and less than well put together, it still had a big fan base full of really enthusiastic people.  There were definitely some security issues, but overall, it didn't seem too awfully terrible.  I'll just be keeping my wits about me for this one

I don't mean to get off topic but goodness that sounds crazy wild.

Good luck Painted. I would say just have fun and have a witness if anything crazy were to happen. Someone threatening to press charges might encourage them to increase security if the Con continues to be overly rowdy.

Thanks madhatterda. I definitely will be careful. Its in a new location this year, so hopefully security will be easier to handle.
