Can human hair be used in rehairing a pony?

I recently came into possession into a "hank" of my own hair....and i have the itch to make a custom pony using this hair!

I only have enough to rehair a Playful size G4...any tips? Or is this just not feasible?

Yes you can use human hair.

This guy's hair came from a human hair wig.
Had to wash it well but no problems.

Neat Angellove! is it sticking straight up only because of styling, or is human hair more naturally sticking up?

I've heard that it helps to occasionally wash things made of human hair because if not it gets kind of dry and gross over time.

If you're up for the maintenance, I say go for it!

some other girl here on the forum had her hair cut then rehaired a pony with it. the pony looked really cool, but for me it has a odd factor.  probly cause my hair is down to my belly button and it gives me night mares to cut it off! 

it was so long ago I can't even remember what to look for or who it was, mabey someone ealse will remember.
