i am self taught as well i found i often need to "practice" part of a pattern until it looks right!

i mostly do the amigurumi style, though i have made a baby blanket from "granny" squares.

i like to use a size 3.5 needle and two or three ply wool (baby wool is the best i find) i like my things to be soft and cuddly

Just basic stuff from me so far... a capelet was the most complex and no pic... I've got a few amigurumi patterns but have yet to tackle one.
