Ahh....my confusion was because the thread was about the G1 DVD not the G4 one. I did wonder.

Oh weird. I didn't know it was discontinued. I kept wondering why I was seeing it on ebay for $150.

Krud. Now I really wish I could find that last CD disc!! I was going to order a replacement.

Hell, I would take uncut DVD versions of the first two specials if nothing else.

I would just buy a DVD with those two specials.

This!  The fact that they cut the specials was the main reason I didn't buy the box set.

I've been wishing and hoping for MLP Tales to be released on DVD for so long now. I already have all the original MLP eps on DVD. But what I have of the Tales series is on burned discs and really low quality. Almost unwatchable.
