Rockin Beats Pony Factor Hair

Hey I just got a G1 Sweet Note, Rockin Beats Pony and I'm wondering if her hair really should be this kinky, on purpose, from the factory.  Of if I should try to flatten it? or try to somehow clean and condition, but somehow retain the kink.

that's factory. their hair was crimped. oh the 80s.

Yep- it's factory crimped, I'm happy one of the rockers had this lovely 80's hairstyle. this one lost some of her crimp though.

I wish all the Rocking Beats had that crimp, its so fabulously appropriate for the late 80s/early 90s and very makes me want to bust out my crimpers lol!

One of my favorite sets because of the crimped hair and bright colors!  The 80s were awesome!

In regards to cleaning, the crimping actually holds up to washing very well, and I've had no problem just washing and conditioning like normal, and combing with a wide-tooth comb.

oh wow! It was sort of a random guess that it came that way.  but yeah... the 80s!!! 

I'll see what a simple washing does.  She hand an elastic in her mane   so it's got a weird wave going on.

I'm not sure if I'm going to keep or sell her... her colors are really wild!! but then again I grew up in the 80s so some repressed memory might latch onto her and prevent me from letter her go!
