How do you organize your ponies?

*ahem* I have mine roughly clustered by gen and type. That is, the fashion styles are together and such like. Right now I have my canon g4 ponies on a shelf and the non canon ones in a shadow box my sister donated to me recently. 

I also like to put the ones I think are friends together but that's about as close to "organised" as I get.

Well for me I organize my G1 in three different areas: My favorites in the main section of my glass shelves, in my other class shelves (random/ by babies), in a draw (very random). My g2's are in my glass shelf organized by types and by random sets, and in a draw. G3 also on my shelf organized by poses and replicas (extras in draw). My g4's are organized by type and then random (most of my g4's are still unopened.  I haven't had time to really sift through all my items just yet.  I'd like to organize accessories at the same time.
