Just some help with a G1 Baby Accessory? (ANSWER FOUND!)

Hey all... so I just have a quick question trying to properly identify a baby accessory that I have.

It's a G1 baby rattle... I believe it is the "large" rattle (for normal babies) not the smaller ones that came with the twins sets.
I don't have a photo of it yet, but it looks exactly like the one that came with Cuddles Baby Buggy... EXCEPT that the colors are reversed.

EDIT: Okay! I found out what this rattle is... it is the German variation from the Baby Buggy.

Really? I have never seen that one. My German buggy came with the first one.

It is indeed the variant It didnt come with all German releases however just some later ones - hence why they are so hard to find! There is also a reverse lullaby nursery rattle too.

That's crazy! Does it carry any value? I don't think anyone I know of cares about variant rattles... LOL but I suppose since I have BBE and NBBE cuddles with the buggy that I can give each of them a rattle now,

Yes - it certainly does have value - at least to the right collector.

The thing about unusual and variant accessories is that there are not tonnes of people collecting them - so if you get a couple of people looking then yes the price could soar but if no one is looking at the time it will sell for the price of an average rattle.

If you get enough interest I would auction it rather than sell it, if you are selling I know I would pay around the $10 mark which is about three times the price of the non variant.

Well, that's crazy - I have just only started to get involved with the world of variant ponies... and I knew before that ponies like the Princesses and babies had different accessories or colors of brushes (or shapes)... but I had no idea that variations of accessories went all the way down to simple things like baby rattles!

Are there any informational sites with information about variant accessories on it, or do you just have it locked in your amazing expertise knowledge brain, hathor?
