I use mostly Apple Barrel. I'm actually not that fond of Folk Art, because the paint is so THICK. It's more like paste.

Interesting, I only have seen that problem with certain colours - black is the worst. Most of the lighter colours and my red are perfectly fluid. The thicker colours are fine watered down, they're just annoying when you're trying to get them out of the bottle. :D

My blue and black were very thick. I solved it by putting a tiny amount of water in the bottles. They are nice and liquid now. I figured it couldn't hurt, because I water them down when using them anyway.

I like Ceramcoat the best but I also have a lot of Liquitex, airbrush colors, Folk Art, Craft Smart, Testor's, Anita's, and a few Apple Barrel colors in shades I just adore.  :)  Oh!  And Lumiere.

Me too!  And every bottle of FolkArt that I've used has been too thick.  I don't know if it might be a regional thing or something, but I tend to hate needing to water my paint down, so just avoid getting it when I can.  I also love Citadel Colours, but they do tend to get kind of pricey if you're buying or using a lot of them.
