The easiest to find ponies are like if they grew in trees, you will always get a cotton candy or a butterscotch or their babies. But for example a rainbow unicorn or a taf ... no way!
The main problem that makes them so hard to find is that there is a lot of resellers who buy ponies cheap to people who had them from their childhood and they sell them on ebay instead of the local market, there's a huge hunger to get us dollars so you can imagine ...
The other factor is that, when they were sold, the mlp toys were a bit expensive for the mid class people, so many of the persons who still own them from ther childhood have them as a treasure, as some of their most beloved toys, so many of them are denied to sell them, and believe me I really understand them!

HAHAHA Marian!!! you has done a perfect expla. Here in Argentine sometimes is more difficult find a argie pony, that in others countries. I am one of that you said who have her childhood pony like a treasure hahaha! never sell it!

There's a fair number of regular sellers, and about ten or so years back there was a huge influx of Argentina MOCs, so I'd say there was a fair number of people there that are aware
