Lego also has a very good relationship with its collectors. There's even an ambassador program; the ambassadors represent the desires of the community. Lego considers this when devoping new products. And because collectors account for 10% of total sales, that's in their best interest. Learned about it in a business communications class.

I've always had good experiences with Lego custommer service! My borther once bought me a harry potter set that arrived with a missing roof tile. We sent them an email and got the piece a few days later aong with some extras!
He also bought himself an expensive starwars one and was missing piece that are nearly impossible to find and again, they sent it to him! (took longer this time tough ^^).

I wish more companies were actually listenning to their custommer instead of sending automatic replies :s
