Facebook Has Legal Rights To Everything You Post There

I'm not saying other people can't steal your stuff,  but that is the case anywhere.  Start your own private website that you host yourself and people can still steal your things.  My point was facebook won't just take your status updates, or pictures and use them without linking everything back to you.

If you post something to your profile thinking it's private, and FB uses it elsewhere, the damage is still done, wether they link it back to you or not, isn't it? My point is that nothing on the web is private.

Well, thanks for explaining what all the fuss is about. I kept seeing those copy/paste thingies and i know enough about copyright to know that they don't do anything
But I am one of those people that really doesn't care if the whole world sees what I post. I never post anything too important or personal anyways and i tend to think that I'm not important enough in the grand scheme of internet things for anyone to bother stealing or misusing my stuff But if anyone really wants to know that I still suck at hockey and that I'm a major Supernatural fangirl, then that's fine by me ^^
