Need some advice....
« on: November 30, 2012, 09:01:05 PM »
i got a bulk lot of ponies yesterday (yay finally!!) and this beautiful skydancer was among them. Her hair is beautiful, her symbols are beautiful, but her body, unfortunately, isn't so good... is there a way to treat her problems, should i leave her as is, or should i use her as bait? i'm only hesitant to customize her cause her hair and symbols are so nice, it seems a shame...

Age spots. The ones around her symbol could be symbol rust, from the look of them.  There isn't much that can be done by way of treatment.  Common problem with yellow/glittery symbol ponies.

Add a necklace or something around her neck.  Head mismatch will be less noticeable.

As Baby Sugarberry says the bruising is probably age marks which unfortunately there is little you can do about it and the marks on her symbols will be staining from rust. Its always so frustrating when you get a pony with such lovely features but other serious issues!

She is certainly a common enough pony should you wish to customise but honestly I dont think her issues are so terrible that she wouldn't display nicely if you do decide to keep and display her.
Thank you Matcha for my gorgeous Baby Fifi avi

thanks everyone!! i will keep her as is :) her hair covers alot of her head, lol, and only one side is really noticeably marked. her hair is just to gorgeous to cut/remove - kinda like getting your baby's curls cut off :( (done it twice now, and still hate it :P)

It's funny how we can get attached to not so good condition ponies eh? :) I have a Starshine that is in AWFUL condition ( her whole body is almost brown!) but she has gorgeous eyes and hair and I can't get rid of her!

Her glitter is so lovely I would say keep her as a place holding pony and try to upgrade if you feel the need in the future.  That glitter can be so hard to find looking so shiny and full.
