help please
« on: December 01, 2012, 02:52:18 PM »
so I have two sylvan flocked animals and one has a horrid musty smell to it. Any idea on how to get rid of the smell ? I found them at the thrift store.

I wouldn't think a light spritzing would harm any flocking... Read directions though. ><  And don't blame me if something goes wrong!  YOU CAN'T FIND ME! Haha.

Maybe put it in a baggie with some baking soda? The powder should shake/brush off easily, I would think.

I agree with the baking soda idea - I've removed very mild smoke smells from MLP hair (the smell was in the hair only, not from the bodies) the same way with positive results, but I do usually leave them sealed in there for a few days.
