I -love- the book, and I'm excited for the movie as well.  I'm going to have my sophomores read it this year.

I liked it, though I kind of soured off on the end (but that's just me).

I had to read it, since my nine year-old son snagged it at a used book table and I wanted to make sure it'd be all right for him to read.  Apart from the last part (no), I'm still undecided - maybe we'll read it together. ^.^

Wishlist - I'm back on (semi-) active buying again... can't buy everything on my wish list all at once (yay, back-to-school and tuition fees), but I am still looking to plump up my collection a bit more: http://mlparena.com/index.php/topic,380638.0.html

I just got back from seeing the movie! It was really good and I would definitely suggest seeing it. It was pretty close in that it took half of the movie for him to get on the boat lol xD

I have just seen the movie! I was so sceptical at first, but from the very beginning it was incredible! The animals are wonderful and the 3D effects perfect! I even cried a bit. There are so many insanely funny moments, and the Indian English sounds so cute.
Wonderful movie, I totally recommend it, although I haven't understood everything yet! I don't know the book, but I think I might give it a try now.
Beautiful tiger!
