POTD 11/20/2012 Glittering Gem

Even though I don't like the original BnG ponies, I truly love this set. They have one of my favorite things - tinsel. And I tend to really love any princess line of ponies.

Love her! She was one of my favorites as a kid (along with Brilliant Bloom) and I still love her to this day. The whole set is great.

I ended up with 2 when I was little and at this point I think I have 4, though I plan on transferring the tail from one who's in very poor condition to another - just have to figure out how! But anyway, I voted army since I've at least got a start. =P

I have her - and the rest of her group.
All have their mechanism still working....so seeing they all packed up - having their tails wound in stops the tangles!

I do not have her, but I have a really funny story involving her. 

One day me and a friend went to a thrift shop, and I found a few G1 ponies and a bush woolie.  I also found Glittering Gem's body, but not her head. So I left her behind.  I went back a week later, and they'd tossed her body, but I found her head!  What the heck!

I have her and I do like her but I do think Skylark is the prettiest of the set. But pink and gold are alway lovely princess colours.
