Just bought an outfit for a doll I don't even have yet....

So, I got a weird deposit of a hundred dollars from the government (something about tax returns from last year?) and could not wait to spend it. I had been eyeing an outfit on etsy that I know will look amazing on the doll I want and I couldn't play the waiting hame anymore, sweating  over whether or not someone else would buy. It was over fifty dollars x.x I'm hesitant to spend that much on myself! Do you guys ever do this? Buy something for your doll before even having the doll (or in my case even ordering the doll lol)? Or am I just a ridiculous and can't keep money?

I've just done exactly the same! and i feel kinda guilty lol, have spent about $85 on clothes and shoes on etsy, got my eye on 2 cute pairs of boots on ebay too, so all in all prob $100 and i haven't even decided which doll to get!

I had several outfits for Caius and Arria before they arrived. They also both had wigs and Caius had a couple pairs of shoes before he ever made it home. I like being ready for their homecoming by having all the stuff I want for them, so yeah, I'm always buying clothes for dolls I don't have home yet. ^_^ I've also eyeballed clothes for dolls I haven't ordered or even made plans for yet. Like I'll see amazing clothes for an MSD doll and I'll want to buy it just because I really love it even though I likely won't have an MSD doll for several months yet. LOL.

Lol, I know exactly what you mean!  It just gives me a legit reason to get another doll for that particular outfit...Well, legit in my head anyway. Lol.
