Puzzle Games..

So my boyfriend, who studies game design, made a puzzle game a few days ago with a friend.. Denki: http://www.mochimedia.com/games/play/denki

It has no scoring system yet, but I still enjoyed playing it. Maybe you do as well (shameless plug)? ;>

What do you think of puzzle games in general? I myself cannot say that I terribly enjoy playing them, I'm mostly not a casual gamer and rather play games with story or shooters.. but I still do play puzzles every once in a while and surprisingly I am quite good at them. xD
Whenever some friends are over for gaming-night, when we play shooters, I have a mediocre score usually. But with puzzle games I mostly win, so I seem to have a talent for them. LOL.

My favourites would be good ol' Tetris and Dr.Mario, Tetrisphere (N64), Opposites (360) and Piyotama (PS3).

Very neat I like puzzle games, I'm definitely more of a casual gamer - puzzle games and things like Farmville.

I don't really like puzzle games much myself. But that's awesome your boyfriend made one!

Addicted.. for a long time now.  My first fave was the original Tengen version of Tetris for Nintendo. My high score was 808 lines. That was no easy feat. another more recent fave is Pokemon Puzzle. Matching cubes in a rotating cylinder was a blast. Always love the 2 player settings.. love to whoop some butt  A PC game I really enjoyed was Safecracker. Didn't think I liked math that much, but must have.  I also play hoards of hidden object/puzzle games. One I remember that was awesome for puzzles was Azada.

I love puzzles that I need to solve to unlock something  but usually only if its within an action/adventure game..like inside a dungeon in one of the Zelda games^^

It has to have story for me..something to hook into it.  Im usually a console person^^
