That's a great idea! Maybe if the dolls were a bit further from the background Scarah wouldn't blend in so much as it would be out of focus?

A larger aperture (and therefore a shallower depth of field) would produce the same effect. However, I'm not sure it would make much difference in this instance.

That being said, I've had someone on Facebook tell me that they *like* how Scarah fades into the background.

Not exactly what I wanted in terms of their poses, but it was the best I could do under the circumstances. I wish my camera had a flip-out LCD screen so I could see what I was doing when I'm in front of the camera. It's hard to hold the dolls so they're facing the right way. And I don't really like the way Spectra's feet are just sort of hanging down. I like Rochelle's feet best, I think. And Scarah just sort of fades into the background. Ah well. Not every idea works out the way you want it to.
