Agreed here too... it just took away from the main plot... especially when those characters weren't even caring about what was going on around them as if they were stuck in another dimension 

I thought the same thing. I understand about the need for parallel stories, but this one was so left field. I was super happy in the beginning that maybe they were going to make a "don't need a boyfriend to be happy" character. If we are supposed to be "teaching" kids to be unique and be yourself, that should involve a "it's okay to be yourself by yourself" kind of character.

And then I got not so super happy in the end......

It was great! and funny how Abbey saved Heath a few times,until he finally destroyed the yetti...But there's one thing:

I was hoping for somehting more form Clawdeen and Draculaura,though.The thing that also bothered me is why Clawdeen didn't just say she doesn't want a boyfriend and Draculaura just leave her alone

My mom looooooves Halloween and silly kids movies so I watched this again last night with her. She said she loved it and the message it had! I really adore that I can just sit down and watch Halloween movies I loved as a kid with her and appreciate them even more now that I'm an adult. :'D

I loved Ghouls Rule! It was pretty great overall.

I actually don't mind the fact that these movies are done 3D style. As much as I love the webisode style, everyone's hair is so BIG! Especially Robecca's hair in her recent webisode! It looks so silly to me. Of course, the 3D style isn't perfect either. I guess I just like them both, and don't really prefer one over the other. They both have pros and cons.

I agree with others that Clawdeen should've just said that she didn't want a boyfriend. I really doubt that Mr. Sparkles will be showing up in later webisodes/movies though, so I'm not too concerned.

Same goes for Claire... I doubt that she'll be showing up in any of the webisodes, and considering Andy only got a minor appearance in this movie, it's unlikely Claire will have a major role in any of the later movies either. Mattel might make me eat those words though...!

On the other hand, Abbey and Heath had a pretty major role in this movie, and now they've recently had a webisode shipping them together. That's pretty legit if you ask me! I kinda like the fire/ice combo... 

BUT OH MY GOSH. Jackson was such a cutie throughout the whole movie! And Cleo got so much character development! And we actually got to see her dad! And Deuce was so chill and forgiving! And Toralei was actually helping the main characters rather than just being the resident bully! EEE! There was so much stuff I loved about this movie.

I watch all the webisodes the past few days so I could watch the specials this week.  This was the first CGI special I caught.  I guess I don't mind the CGI too much.  Some characters didn't translate too well in my opinion.  Mainly Abbey and Ghoulia.  Remember though, I haven't seen Why Do Ghoul's Fall in Love, and Escape From Skull Shores.  I may change my mind, but I doubt it.

Rochelle seems really different than I thought she'd be like.  I expected larger eyes and a softer voice.  Has she been anywhere else, or was this her first apperance?

I'm fairly certain this was her first appearance. I definitely expected a softer, or perhaps lighter/higher voice for her as well.

But then I also expected Robecca's English accent to sound more... well... English.

That's exactly how I felt about her too! I thought she'd have like a soft voice and be all nice. They made her the complete opposite, made her seem all....always angry.

I really enjoyed this special, but not as much as Skull Shores or "Why do Ghouls fall in love".

I too was surprised by Rochelle's characterization, I definetly expected her to be a bit more...Forceful. I also didn't like Robecca as much in this special as I have in the webisodes

As far as the Frankie romance thing w/Holt/Jackson...
