I can't wait now to get a case, I've been looking to buy these for a long time. I do wish they had done a second series of more  G1 characters but I'm happy they made as many as they did.

They still sell them in random places - you could find them throughout all of the UK in 3 of the main supermarkets - Asda, Tesco and Morrisons when they were at their peak but now I just see them in the occasional Tesco garage forecourt.

The G1 ponies were the second release as the company had previously released a Core 7 selection of the ponies.

I certainly agree that it goes to show ponies this size can happily have brushable hair maybe Hasbro will one day take note :)

Storydreamer, count me in on the group order...I definitely would be in for a box, I think (having seen the price on eBay, that's definitely the cheaper option than trying to get the individual toys.)

Just a quick note - I contacted the company, and they will happily ship to North America. ^.^  It's a bit on the pricey side, but all shipping seems to be to me these days... :P

Wishlist - I'm back on (semi-) active buying again... can't buy everything on my wish list all at once (yay, back-to-school and tuition fees), but I am still looking to plump up my collection a bit more: http://mlparena.com/index.php/topic,380638.0.html

Hahha yeah... I didn't check their fine print when I ordered and was all 'two pounds to canada? How reasonable!' and then she emailed me with '...actually, um. It's twelve pounds more' and sigh.

But at least I'm getting my dolly mixes!

You can have them shipped to me if you prefer but honestly for the size of box £12 isnt too bad. If you dont want the sweeties or all of the bags and leaflets it would be possible to ship them cheaper though :)

I would love to be in on a group order too, if anyone wants to get it together. I almost choked when I saw the conversion fro the price of 2 boxes plus shipping, but maybe we could all save some cash ordering together.

I'd be up for a full set minus candy shipped to the US.

The sweeties are actually the heaviest part - honestly guys if you want them ordered the only way something like a group order is ever going to be cheaper is if you wish only the ponies and you find someone to debag them on this side of the ocean. As mentioned as long as people pay in advance, I dont mind helping out but shipping may only reduce to a third or a half of the £12 quoted by the retailer.

Edit: Forgot to mention, there is a common error in Dolly Mix ponies where ponies who are supposed to be unicorns are made with earth pony heads. The color matches, but there's no horn.

That makes so much sense why I have some without the horn! So are there ones out there with the horn then?

Yes there are Glories with and without the horn - without seems to be more common now though.
