Pang-Ju dolls
« on: September 18, 2012, 08:45:59 AM »
Does anyone here have a Pang-Ju? http://www.flickr.com/search/?q=pang%20ju

I've been thinking about getting one, but I'd like to hear from someone who has them... like how does their body feel (very plasticky?), how posable is it etc. Would you recommend them?

I also can't decide which one I would get... the newest one, Coco-Pang, has the most detailed face-up, and the best blushed ears, but I'm no big fan of his outfit. Pome-Pang, the clown, is cool (and I can scare people with it, haha), but I think the painted clown nose looks strange on his dog face. Rambu-Pang has my favourite style, piercings and all, but he doesn't have eyebrows or blushed ears...

I've wondered about them as well.  I'd love to hear from anyone who has one.  They're quite adorable.

I've looked at them, but I always stop myself because they're not resin.. I'd be curious from an owner as well, as they're very cute!

I have the first one, and think it was a good deal compared to normal BJDs.  As a tiny BJD, he poses as expected: not great. He fits in just fine with other "real" BJDs; you can't see the difference. If you pick him up you realize it's plastic, but some resin BJDs aren't even all that much better.  Considering this cutie comes with eyes, faceup, and outfit, he's worth the price IMO.

Also, Groove is coming out with another BJD. Although she's not my cup of tea, she's pretty.  http://groove.ws/news.groove.ws/?p=17878

Thank you very much for your input, Blitzn! :)

Heh, yeah, that other BJD was gonna cost some silly amount though. I wonder when she'll be out...
