Evolution: What do you get when you cross an Italy with a US pony?

I was getting some ponies ready to sell on evilbay last night and my love for the rainbows made me look at those on my self and to my amazement--- yet another anomaly!


Ok, I admit there is very little research/ knowledge in this post, so it quite possibly is worth a chat and some fantasizing....

What do you get when you cross an Italy with a US pony?

Pay special attention to the eyes- even the eyes reflect a scary cross breeding... I love finding small anomalies in ponies!

I don't think the "paint under glitter" were exclusively mail order. My childhood Trickles has paint under glitter & I know she came from a store.

I don't think it is the case either (hence my disclaimer of no research/ verification) as I've seen this with the first 6 babies , first set of rainbows, Sunbeam and probably more I am forgetting.... I love the raised texture of the glitter!

I have a small pile of rainbows (sounds like the start of a poem) and I have a few with the paint under the glitter. A Windy is the most noticeable. I don't know why though.
