Well I washed them again when I got home last night, just with soap and water and most of the weird brown spots did come out and the staining faded a little. I blotted them, then hung them up to dry and went up them with the hair dryer a bit to get the wrinkles out. One dress is fine again, but the other still just looks messed up. it has lots of little pleats and all of them are wrinkled and just look terrible. I'll have to switch to a backup dress for that one

All is not lost though! At least one of the dresses is back to being okay and the other one I may post pictures of later for some advice on.

Yay! Glad one is looking good now! I wonder if there's a way to steam or iron the pleats of the other one?

I'm thinking an iron on low heat with a damp white pillowcase put over the dress. That'll press the wrinkles out without damaging the fabric. You can slowly increase the heat until they're gone if the iron is set to low.
