Nendoroids... is there a way to get around the shipping cost?? x_x

I hope it's ok to make a thread for such a trivial question
I've been SERIOUSLY pining away after Nendoroids.... but the shipping cost (which is always 25-30 USD x_x) always makes me go "well... some other day.." :<
Is there a way to make the shipping cost any less?  Group orders?  Something?!?!? x___x

Also, I tried halfway-ordering one just to see what the process is like and kept getting some sort of error about not being able to provide a shipping quote and not being able to go any further in the ordering process o_o so if anybody could tell me what I was doing wrong, that would be excellent.

At Goodsmilecompany.com (overseas shipping), they'll send multiple nendos for $20 something dollars flat.  So that's good if you plan on ordering more than one nendo at the time.  I actually just put my order in for these two girls from their website for 2000 yen shipping (which comes out to around $20):

Aaaaaaaa, Sakura Miku is the one I'm pining after right now ;_; I know her preorder period ends soon though and I'm not sure if I'll have money to spare so I've pretty much given up on her~

How does one go about finding GO's?  I've not a member of many communities, I guess v_v so I'm not sure how you get in on one!

I'm not too sure, but I think there are forums dedicated to figures like nendos.  If you want, I can order a spare before the time period ends and we can work out some type of arrangement?  She's not being released till March of 2013 anyway.

Yeah multiple nendos or a group order is the way to go. Thankfully I have a friend that orders them like...cases at a time so we can all just split the shipping costs X_X

Yeah, we could split the shipping; so it would be about $11 per person.  And of course, shipping from me to you. ^_^

Hammergirl Anime is an online shop in the USA that has figures, including a few Nendroids. Cheap, fast shipping and good prices but the selection is small. Still, you might find one you like
