so.. i was  wodnering  would anyone be interted in possibly a plush rescue center?  say you have a  beloved   toy.  but oh no! it's mising a leg. or  an eye.  or  the stuffings come out.   or there a rip.  or you ahve a plushie thats lost all tis  fluff and needs new life?

i can do all that!  i can sew back on  body parts
i can  restuff and refluff and make it look good as new!
i can  also  sew up those large gaping heloes
re sew on eyes,

one stop here! everyone is taken in  on a case by case basis!   would t here be any  intrest/  need. just ask me  i'll  even  resew oc plushies!

ok so hers is a basic  example i dont have before pics sorry!  but  he had front legs. once i find one of the elgs i will show you  the  sew jobon it.  this is  one of my dogs fav  plush.  marty  as you cansee  i  sewed  his  front together  so that  there is no  poly fluff  coming out of hm anymore.  and you cant  even see the  threads.  and my dogs still toss hima round and play with him. 
the lack of legs seems tog ive them better grip.

a closer up  to his front wher hte stiches are. as you can see. there invisable! hidden in the fur!  (so my dogs dont  pull them out)

lol  sure. i dont really have any before pics  since i've never really taken any.  but i can take pics of the ones i have   sewed up!  lol  i  have taken voic boxes out of  sevreal build a bears. and  sewed up there legs.

I think it's a wonderful idea.    I've had a few stuffed animals with seam rips and I did a pretty hack job getting them sewn back together. lol

Rescuing toys is a noble mission - I've saved a number of them.    I always love the toys more when they have some damage, honestly...

Ever read "Oddkins" by Dean Koontz?  It's a great book about toys that occasionally need repairs, as they are alive and out to stop evildoers.

That sounds like a great idea!
I've thought of looking for a restoration place possibly for my dolphin, but I'm not sure I could handle not having him for a week or so (or however long it took). Some day I'll have to just find out how to patch him myself.

That's a pretty neat idea. I was always careful with my toys so they wouldn't need repair because I am not good at repairs, not one bit! I can make charming little plushies but nothing high quality, just for friends... but if they broke it they fix it lol. 

Just for the lolz, this is my dog's favourite plush toy called Fuggles, she was a beaver. My repair jobs are usually extra rushed because he's always sitting by my side crying for her back.

And yes, that is a tally on the patch on her bum. It counted how many times I'd had to repair her... then I lost count! No ears, no nose, no limbs (pushed inside her body and sewn shut), no teeth, one eye and the other patched, so many cuts and patches, and a Joker smile... amazingly her tail is completely fine!

She could totally do with some proper repair but I think she's beyond it and good luck getting her off the dog!

Wishing you the best with your Plush rescue center, I'm sure there will be people needing repairs but don't trust their skills to do it themselves. Sorry for the little hijack, hope it made someone lol

*giggles*  i just iggled a little  at seeing that  squiggle.  it was amusing becuase you just described  my  dog to a tee    tinkerbell  would  go hyper crazy  over marty.  i pick him up and i have this  6 pound  white fluff ball bouncing and  crying for him.  and the little  rat dog becoming a mexican jumping bean as wel. but there often very good about what it  is they can and cnat touch

so as i'm ususaly sititng there sewing i tell them be patient and to wait. so then they sit at me and stare.  at  one point  tink grabbed his  back legs adn procded to  pull him out of my hands.
