sun fadding Celestia

ok so i was thinking,  if you leave a pink pony in the sun for too long she will bleach out and go white.

would this work on the g4s?
has any one tryed it yet?


i dont know if there is any point to this experiment,
i mean by the time one has been exposed long enough to start seeing results we may already have white celestias from this  up comming crystal empire line.

what you you ponies all think? worth the bother or not?

Hmm....I would think it really depends on the plastic in question.  I could see it going either way.

If it did work, it'd probably work on the paint first.  As for bleaching the plastic I don't think that it'd happen evenly.

I know there was some discussion of this before, and I think someone might have tried it. I think the plastic might have faded a little, but I don't think it would go entirely white.

Here is the thread where I talked about my unintentional sunfading of Celestia.  Needless to say, the harder plastic did fade, but only to a splotchy, unattractive lighter pinky/peach.
