Kingdom Hearts Re:coded?

So, being something of a KH fan, I picked this up recently as it was the only title I didn't have (which was before 3D came out, so I don't have that either). A friend of mine said since I've played through Birth by Sleep, I won't need to play Re:coded... But I need some opinions.. As I haven't even opened it yet, I was just going to take it back to Target for a full refund. I could use the money for bills. But at the same time, how can I part with a KH game, although I don't know much about it or the storyline (except that it was originally a mobile game in Japan, but that is the extent of my knowledge). I would have a gap in my collection without it (though I no longer have the GBA version of Chain of Memories.. Or any of the Japanese releases either - so I guess I'm not too serious about collecting them).

My question is - should I hang onto this game, or return it to Target for bill monies?

If it were me I'd probably keep it, but that's how I am.

If it's a gap in your collection, I'd keep it ... however, if you need the cash, you need the cash.

i havnt played it yet either.. lol i  need  to find myself a copy as well. i've heard its very good. and i can't wait to get deep drop  dive either.

Eh. I haven't played it myself (the only one actually, other than dream drop distance because I won't be getting a 3DS until later this month), but the boyfriend and his friend are avid KH fans and they've always been telling me not to get it.  It's designed after a card-turn-based system which is a pain, and you go back through the worlds in the first game "re-coding" everything.

So I would hang onto the money if I were you, and get it as a set completer when you have extra cash to spare.
