I'm not sure if this has been posted about, if people already are aware or whatever. But I just wanted to share this with all fellow Disney lovers on this board

I've always loved this painter and he has done some AMAZING Disney paintings. They've also been made into several other items since all of his stuff is beeing mass-produced.
Unfortunatly though there will be no more beautiful Disney paintings from him since he died in April this year =/

But I figured I'd share this anyway

He was an incredible painter!  I've never seen these before, but they sure are awesome!!!!

His work is incredible in person. I just got back from my Disney cruise, and they had a bunch of his paintings in the art gallery for sale. Pricey, of course, but absolutely stunning to look at. If I had the money I would have gotten one in a heartbeat. There was a particularly nice one of the castle that I admired every time I passed through the gallery.

Oh yes <3 My cousin has a calender of his Disney works in her office and every month my sister and I like to guess what movie will be next. We actually realize that in some of his paintings you can see characters from other movies! Like, I believe Peter Pan and Pinnochio can be seen in Cinderella's painting. It's very sweet. My cousin said she'd give me the calender at the end of the year, though I'd love to have an official print of one of his works. My late aunt was a big Thomas Kinkade fan (he's a local artist!), so that's sort of rubbed off on me.

Personaly I love all of his artwork. However I can't afford any real painting so I've bought loads of his puzzles, put them together, framed them and hung them on the walls hehe
Got a HUGE 6000 piece one in the livingroom Took a few months but totally worth it.

I hope they release these Disney painings as puzzles too one day I will be all over them

We actually realize that in some of his paintings you can see characters from other movies! Like, I believe Peter Pan and Pinnochio can be seen in Cinderella's painting.

Characters from other movies are in all of the paintings!  So far, I've found Tinkerbell in The Little Mermaid, Guss (Cinderella's mouse) in Sleeping Beauty, Jimminy Cricket in Lion King, more Cinderella mice in Beauty and the Beast and Bambie, Pinocchio and Peter Pan and Tinkerbell in Cinderella, and I'm sure there are more.  Working these as a puzzle would be a treat, since you get to closely examine ever inch of the painting while putting it together!
