Hey peeps!
After having watched all the MH TV-Specials I'm really in love with the Wolfs.
And even tho I am currently on the lookout for ST Clawdeen and it would violate my rule of 'only one per character' I really want sig Clawdeen as well. (....and so it starts. Soon I'll be drowning in doubles. )

Thing is, afaik she's not sheduled for a rerelease like Lala? ..and in the ended ebay auctions on german ebay she's always sold for between €50-80!! loose! each time. O_O
Is.. is that correct? Is she really that expensive? The other 1. wave dolls don't ever end up that high... :<

She is incredibly rare now... I've heard rumors that she was pulled from the shelves due to her diary having references to shaving, actually. I'm not sure if that's true or not, but she really has been more or less replaced by 2.0 Clawdeen.

I think this is true, I got hold of  a copy of her diary and it does have shaving references in it... x

Now that you say it, tho.. I remember when the first wave was in store and I was picking up my Frankie, I dug through lots and lots of boxes to find the best one, and I saw a lot of Lalas, Lagoonas and Ghoulias, but never her. O:

I just heard that some "concerned parents" were offended by it because it's apparently inappropriate to talk about shaving around children.  I also heard that some private toy stores had boycotted MH because of it... Weird stuff.

Yeah, I remember that in her short-bio she says she has to shave a lot b/c of being a werewolf. But.. but I'd never think this is bad to mention in front of children? Almost everyone with an older sister, or cousin or MOTHER knows that women have to shave, too.. LOL WTH? xD;

I bought all my dolls as soon as they were available, from wave 1 until today, and Signature Clawdeen was HTF right from the start.  She was short packed to begin with, so that didn't help.  I think your best bet for finding a decently priced one, is to hang out in the MH Sale Forum:(

I wish I could replace my wave 1 Clawdeen tbh. I bought one a long time ago (she has "normal" hands) but her face was screened on all crooked and wonky... ;( Good luck finding one!

The € is so weak right now, and I think all the $$ I already have in my PP willl have to go towards her ST version.. so I'll hang around german ebay for a while. ;_;

Or, if the € picks up again, make a wanted post.. but I guess collectors here will hardly sell theirs if she's such a rare gem.

And being shortpacked as well.. wth, why would they do that? :O
Maybe they though she wouldn't sell that well in the beginning? She's the most 'monster looking' one of the first wave, isn't she.. so maybe that's why. :7
