Glue... reached hair when rehairing.
« on: July 21, 2012, 03:28:17 PM »
I did a rehair for the alt rehair swap. The pony looks so good (well, i think so at least) but after rehairing and gluing the inside hair so it stays safe in place, i got a little bit glue coming out through the hair holes and has reached the hair. It is very little, but - as you may understand - frustrating. I want the perfect rehair custom for my partner! I don't want to take the hair out, because this is the perfect color, and i'm sure my partner would like it! It's just.. the glue. Could i try to remove it with hot water, or is there no solution at all? I nééd my partner to get this one, it's hair favorite pony with her favorite colors. It would be so sad to throw it all away!!! The glue is not all over the hair, only the beginning of a few manes.

I could use some advice please.

if the glue is dried solid try brushing the glue out with a fine comb at the base of the hair, I've had some success with that if you just slowly work at picking the glue off the hair... worst that could happen would be the hair in those spots would pull out and you'd just have to rehair those few plugs

I'm not familiar with that brand, then again I'm not dutch XD Is it liquidy or more like a PVA glue?

This has happend to me several times I normally do a hair style to cover it up or you could add something to cover over the glue like some flowers or stars?
Try putting the hair up into a bun or twists?
