SWTOR help?

So I am trying to install Star Wars: The Old Republic and well it doesn't seem to be going very well.
I installed it fine, and it installed a few patches fine but then it got to the 'main assests' patch thing and after essentially spending most of today downloading it it had a brainfart and said it wasn't working or something and after running the 'fix install' it's restarted the whole download again.
All 11 GB of it.
Anyone able to help me out here? It's driving me nuts and I just want to play.

Current attempt to 'fix' things was uninstall it and reinstall it on my D drive now I have to wait for this stupid 'video' patch to download before it starts going for the 11gb patch again D:
Been looking for answers apparently it's not a problem on 'my' end but Bioware themselves

Well, it seems to be ticking along okay now. The big file is still downloading after I left my laptop overnight and it got down to about 5.60gb so it's resuming hopefully it works this time around,

I had no problems installing the game, but that was a few months ago.

I don't imagine there is a need to reinstall the game though, I´m sure it's just something a patch or some update should fix. You can always also send a mail to Bioware support team and explain exactly what kind of error message or something you get. As you said, it'S probably on their end and they should be able to either fix it or tell you when it's gonna get fixed ^^

Yeah I did the install as apparently that was a fix for certain people, the other one was apparently 'install all patched manually' :/
For some reason the patcher goes super slow, which seemed weird as my internet is normally pretty fast as the first file I had to download was about 2gb and that took ages, and then of course came the big file which is 11 or so. Now it's gotten down to about 2 and a bit so I'll see where it goes from there.
