Is it just me or do all Vennies we've seen so far seem to have blue eyes?

And now that I'm looking through the gallery, it seems like the same may be true for Colombians as well

Good eye! I hadn't noticed that!

All of the Italian ponies have blue eyes & some of the collector pose ponies from Colombia have ITALY under their feet. Maybe there's a connection? Maybe instead of getting their licensing and/or molds from US Hasbro, the Colombian & Venezuelan toy factories got their pony supplies from Italy?

It makes me remember those odd Italian Cotton Candys that we've seen, and how they didn't look Italian at all It really has me wondering what the connection between these 3 are.
