So all you veteran customizers who take commissions, I could use your help.
A girl my husband works with saw the pony I made him for our anniversary and asked him how much I would charge to make two pink princess ponies for her nieces. I was completely floored! I'm such a noob! But I quoted her a price and she was apparently tickled with it, so now I'm making ponies for a stranger who is paying for them. Awesome! Paid is good!
So here's where I need a bit of help. All I know is that she wants pink princess ponies, so I'm sending her an email with some questions to get more specifics and clarify in both our minds what she's expecting.
In your opinion, what's the most critical information to get? I'm thinking a secondary color and if the girls have other hobbies or interests so I can make the ponies different enough, the girls' first names, delivery deadline, that sort of stuff.
I'm looking forward to your responses. Thank you so much!
