And yes there is something soothing about just having a pony that you really like around some times - its almost a security blanket or a comforter in some ways. As you can see lots of us experience the same thing - and I think its lovely

I totally go and sit in the spare room with my ponies if I'm sad. I like to sit and fiddle with their hair too. I fiuddle with my own hair though, so I think it's an extension of that...

I just got the mini Rainbow Dash plushie Saturday, but it's been by my side since. She's adorable, and helps me with my anxiety.  Considering I have it bad, it's awesome she calms me!

I do this too (not only with ponies, but also with my Furbies and plushies). these cute companies help more than one could think when you're feeling down. I usually calm down if I get to pet and hug something ^^
