Hair Discrepancies for Columbian White Applejack

I'm making a custom Columbian white AJ, but have run into some discrepancies on her hair colors. It is mentioned here:

that she (and columbian blue belle) has one row of blue/yellow hair and another row of yellow/pink hair, but then I find this post where it almost definitely looks like the top row is blue & pink (and probably pink and yellow on the bottom):

Can anyone confirm for me whether it is blue/yellow and pink/yellow  or blue/pink and yellow/pink ?

It could be that she was made both ways. The Colombian pony factory didn't have has tight quality control as the factories that made ponies in Hong Kong & China, so there's a good possibility that the ponies got whatever hair color was on the machine at the time.

Wow, okay, thanks!!   I'll probably go with blue/pink as the top row then.

There does seem to be some variety in the Colombian ponies' hair, so as kkv says, it could well be she came both ways. All part of the Colombian charm

there is a bit of a mix with the colours and it seems ponies got one row of mane plugs with a yellow mix and the second row of mane plugs with a blue mix:) i know shellebelle and i had a chat about this! there are a couple of colour mixes which seem to be as follows.

colour mix one: yellow and pink and yellow and blue

colour mix two: yellow and pink and pink and blue.

one mix has more yellow and the other mix more pink however i am sure there is every combination inbetween though! like KK said there wasn't much QC!

imho i would just pick the mix you like best
