Keep some water on hand for your fingers/tools, it gets a bit sticky. Try not to drown the milliput though. Anything you can't sculpt with it wet, carve in dry.

Clip your fingernails short or else they'll be slicing into your clay making little scratch marks. :/

Jelzar is right, lotion works waaaaaaaaaaaaay better. When you go to mix the two components put a bit of lotion on your hands to start. It helps keep it from sticking to your hands. It also helps to let the stuff harden for a bit before you use it depending on what you are working on. Smooth out finger prints with lotion and make sure to wipe off any residue that gets on our pony before it dries (I've made the mistake of leaving it and it's a pain to get off!).

Not sure if this applies since I use Apoxie sculpt.. But I have found that if you did use lotion, then wiping the pony down with Acetone when you are done working on it will help to completely remove lotion residue so your paint will stick. For me, the acetone also does great as removing the sculpting residue from the pony. If not, then a dull xacto blade gently scraping it does the trick.

I have some 100% pure acetone so I will remember that!

How long after I have mix it have I got to work with it before it dries?

You do mix it first before you start sculpting right? I assumed so but best check lol

yeah just take a bit of each -equal amounts- and mix them together untill the colour of them is all the same.
