Hello every pony.

I have managed to get hold of a heap of Italians including a MOC Firefly (italian in german packaging ) and I was wondering how much they are worth.

They all have slight issues except for Majesty who is pretty mint.

I was wondering in general do all Italians have oddly printed eyes as a few of mine are a little off set. And is the hair on these ponies more bluntly cut or something than regular Hong Kong ponies as it doesnt seem to lie as nicely.

Right my lot include Bubbles, Blossom, Windy, Peachy, Apple Jack and Glory who suffer from the odd eye or symbol scratch , hair cut, un-equal tail rooting or marker initials on their hooves.

I also have a pretty good condition Butterscotch with white hair... Is she rare?

Sorry about all the questions, I am realitively new to foreign ponies.

You'll soon have answers from the pros of the arena but I think the "rarest" in your bunch is Majesty. is she in the normal pose or in Moondancers pose?


Italians came with either painted (those are normally a bit off) or airbrushed eyes. The airbrushed ones look better placed (judging from the Italians I've seen) but can also look a bit more smudged than the painted on eyes.


Many italians have thicker hair but I'm not sure about the cutting. I've seen ponies with really nice ( hongkong/china - like) hair, and many italians with that thick weirdly cut hair.

Majesty is in her regular pose but has printed blue stars as her symbol.

Is that significant ?

Shes pretty rare I forgot her name though.

If it is this guy it is Re Unicorno    He sell for $250-$300 depending on condition and if he has his accessories.

Bubbles - $10-15
Blossom - $15-20
Windy - $12-18
Peachy - $2-5
Applejack - $8-12
Glory - $25-30, but doesn't come up hugely often, so could go a bit higher.

Those are prices for very good condition ones, so it might be a little different depending on the flaws.

white haired butterscotch is the regular release for italy, she is popular and i would have thought about $20 for her in tip top shape

have you looked closely at her eyes? are they stamped like the other ponies or are they blurry and soft looking? if so she has airbrushed eyes both blossom and peachy could have airbrushed eyes too, so look closely as they are worth upto $60 each.

it is only a small difference, but it does affect the price a lot.

it is only recently that we have discovered this difference with the eyes!

i currently have some similar italians on ebay - you can watch and see what prices they fetch there
